Engineering Interests, Inc. Heatless Dryers are used for critical applications where compressed air dew points must be maintained below -40°F.

EI Heatless Dryers provide efficient and reliable operation with minimal maintenance.

Principal of Operation:

The EI heatless regenerative dryer consists of dual towers, each filled with desiccant.

One tower is on-line, drying the compressed air stream, while the off-line tower is being regenerated. In the tower being regenerated, water vapor collected during the previous drying cycle is desorbed into the purge air stream and vented to atmosphere.

The dryer operation, controlled by a solid-state timer, is continuous and automatic. The standard drying/regenerating NEMA cycle for -40°F operation is 10 minutes (5 minutes drying, and 5 minutes regenerating per tower).
